The Holidays are here

Well, it is early September and the Holidays are in full swing at the studio. We will soon be opening our 2009 schedule, so stay tuned!

Here is the little girl who was in today. I think I will title this one "enthusiasm". She had a lot of it!!

School Days

Well, it's that time of year again. School is starting, schedules are gearing up for the fall, and the weather is cooling. Ok, not really, but hopefully soon! I thought I would showcase a recent favorite session. I just love working with older kids, and I wish they came in more. HELLO parents of 2nd through 6th graders! I know they don't change as much as they get older, but you don't want to let this wonderful stage pass by without documenting it. You know, before junior high comes along (where does the time go?)

Anyway, I told this little girl she could be a model. I think she thought I was crazy, but the proof is in the pictures!

Where does the time go?

OK, this summer has FLOWN by! I can't believe it is already August. We have been very very busy preparing for the holiday season which really begins right after school starts. 

Yesterday I was reminded of how slow and lazy the childhood summers are. My little Sam sat in the back seat of the car, and asked "When is my new school going to open? I want to go there now." When I told him we have three more weeks until school starts, he sighed a very loud, dramatic sigh and said "It is taking FOREVER!"   OH I could just eat him up.

So, we have some big things going on at the studio. First of all my good friend Jaclyn is finally working with us. I say finally, because I have been begging her for a couple of years!! :-)  She is now doing all of our design consultations to help you choose your portraits and the best way to display them. Don't worry, you are in VERY good hands. She has a background in photography and graphic design. She has also curated several art shows, and she knows her stuff! DON"T miss us this holiday season, because our cards that she has designed are works of art!!!!!!!

Also, our studio is now larger (and we can now move around without tripping over each other). We have expanded to include extra shooting space, a larger design studio, and a boutique filled with our fabulous frames, as well as a few other things we fell in love with.

This is all to say, if you are reading this and want a session between now and December, get off the computer and call us now! Our calendar is already looking very full, so don't miss out.

This is one of my all time favorite images. This was a beautiful little girl and we were able to capture so many fantastic images, but this is by far my favorite......

More new little ones!

Well our baby boom is continuing! I have photographed this new little guy's big sister for quite some time now, and as you can see she is just thrilled to have a baby brother. They have such a wonderful family too, very lucky little kiddos!!

I could just eat her up! She really looks like a doll, all snuggled in her blankie. We  had a great time with her and her fun parents too!!

Summer is almost here!

We had the opportunity to head outside with the weather not too hot just yet, and we had a great time. Here is a preview for grandma, enjoy!!
